The way product reaches buyers at That’s A Awful Lot Of Cough Syrup
Here merchandise arrives in batches rather than seasons. At a week-or-two clip new releases hit the brand’s own online store, and then sell through its shops in Los Angeles and Houston. Posting dates in that store’s feed, read on 29 September 2026, cluster hard: twelve products on 24 July 2026, eleven on 12 September, ten on 25 September. No drop calendar is published anywhere. Stock clears fast: 619 of Thats A Awful Lot Of Cough Syrup 1,443 size variants were sold out that day, close to 43 percent. Long lines at the Melrose Avenue store and limited-edition drops turn up in press coverage of the label.
The one permanent mechanic is the mystery item: a mystery tee at about $75, mystery shorts at about $50, at the brand’s own store as of September 2026. Read those as a snapshot only, since prices and stock move constantly. Restocks are often promised in listings for alocs clothing and cough syrup clothing; the brand has promised nothing of the kind. A sold-out size may never return, because no restock policy is published.
Working through the documented collaboration record
Set out here is every collaboration and activation the research documents, in date order, nothing added from resale chatter. Each entry names its source: coverage published at the time, a partner’s own post, the brand’s blog, or a store feed date. A feed date marks the moment product went live, not the moment a deal was struck. The brand’s name refers to promethazine-codeine cough syrup, known as lean, which explains the medical and horror imagery in these releases. Some entries are thin here and are left thin. None is invented here where a piece list or a price was never published.
8 April 2023: the Cookies store pop-up
The earliest collaboration carrying a date is the one with Cookies, the brand co-founded by Berner. On 8 April 2023 it launched as That’s A Awful Lot Of Cookies. It ran as a pop-up inside the Cookies store at 8360 Melrose Avenue. An outside publication covered it at the time, which puts it in the confirmed column. No piece list and no prices appear in that coverage. Record it as a dated event, not a catalogue entry.
28 April 2023: That’s A Awful Lot of Legendary, with BlueBucksClan
Titled That’s A Awful Lot of Legendary, it was released on 28 April 2023 at the 7669 Melrose Avenue flagship. The capsule with the Los Angeles duo BlueBucksClan came three weeks later. The late Drakeo The Ruler was honored by the drop, and every account of it leads with that. Just a few releases were documented by an outside publication at the time, and this is one. Date this one and stop, if you are cataloguing thats a awful lot of cough syrup collaborations. The sourcing covers the event and the intent, not the fabric.
11 March 2024: the 310babii announcement
That post is the only source, which makes the date solid and the substance thin. The brand announced a collaboration with 310babii on its own blog on 11 March 2024. The piece count, the colorways and the prices are fixed by nothing. It opens a March 2024 stretch that was busy even by this label’s standards, four activations in nineteen days. Reading the blog against the store feed does not settle which products belonged to it. The honest entry amounts to a name and a date.
14 to 17 March 2024: Rolling Loud California
Rolling Loud California is the largest documented activation, staged from 14 to 17 March 2024 at Hollywood Park in Inglewood. On site the brand built a carnival, with arcade games and a swing ride, and it ran two onsite stores across the four days. That, from the brand’s own release, is the whole sourced description. A footprint that size is not a capsule: it sold product, but it was staged as an attraction. A rare fixed date range for temporary retail under the awful lot of cough syrup banner also comes from it. No attendance figure or product list is documented.
19 March 2024: the pop-up at Got Sole
What survives is a recap on the brand’s own blog, the label’s account of its own booth. On 19 March 2024 the brand appeared at Got Sole in Los Angeles, two days after the festival closed. What the entry gives is a date and the fact that the brand works conventions. Got Sole runs as a sneaker and streetwear convention, which makes this trade-show retail, not a partnership. A collaborative product exclusive to that weekend is documented nowhere. Inflating it further would be fabrication.
29 March 2024: the Dodger Collection release
The post sets out a hoodie, a tee, a fitted cap and a dad hat, and kids tees, which is the clearest piece list in this record. March closed with the Dodger Collection, published on the brand’s blog on 29 March 2024. Whether any license sat behind the name is not established by the post. It is likewise the only documented headwear inside a named collection, and that matters practically. The store’s hat collection returns no products as of September 2026, so no cap from it can be bought new. Date it to March 2024 and describe the contents as the brand did.
April 2024: Trapstar out of London
The strongest evidence here belongs to Trapstar: the London label published the collaboration from its own verified accounts in April 2024. Evidence from a partner outweighs a reseller’s caption and removes the question of who authorized what. A Trapstar collaboration hoodie is catalogued on a resale platform at about $150 retail under a spring 2025 season code. Because resale platforms hold secondhand records, that figure is reported rather than confirmed. Beyond the hoodie, no official piece list is documented. This is the entry to lean on hardest of all of them.
1 August 2025: Rhime shoes
Footwear entered the catalogue through Rhime USA, whose shoes were published to the store on 1 August 2025. The listing put The Rhime Shoes at about $100, down from about $200, at the brand’s own store as of September 2026; prices change. Outside the store listing, no launch coverage was found. Inside the store’s own collaborations collection they are the only product. Most of its collaborations never get a permanent catalogue home, so tracing them means reading dated posts. What the entry is: a product record with a publication date, not an announced event.
24 July 2026: the Stinc Team capsule
Newest on the documented record is Stinc Team, published to the store on 24 July 2026. It runs to an ALOCS x Stinc Team Dragon tee and shorts, plus a wider Awful Lot Of Stincs capsule. Shorts from it were priced at about $150 at the brand’s own store as of September 2026. That date is a store feed date, so what it marks is when product went live. No press release accompanied it in the material reviewed. It is confirmed as product, a narrower claim than confirmed as a campaign.
Confirmed, claimed, or merely circulating
All of the above rests on a dated source, while three further items do not. First is a capsule the store published on 12 September 2026 under the ALOCS x YSL name, a bandana at about $30 up to a hoodie at about $200. Real products, sold by the brand, but nothing establishes who the other party is, so no partner is named here and the capsule stands as unconfirmed. Second is a Cartoon Network collaboration; it surfaces on resale listings and in a store collection name but has no announcement and no licensing confirmation. The third of them is an LRG collaboration at ComplexCon, which the brand’s own press release names once with no date attached. Neither of those has independent confirmation, and calling either a licensed collaboration would be a guess dressed as a fact. The table keeps the two columns apart on purpose. Music artists are also named in that press release as past merch collaborators, which is the brand’s undated claim about itself.
